I am now done with Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt. I sat down and plugged along tonight and am now finished. Well it's a flimsy. But for me that is done. Now it's time for me to head to bed.
I love how your mix of light and dark blues draws the eye. I didn't have any light blues and I could see the problem as soon as I had the blocks up on the wall, and the reason I added the applique bit to the light ohio stars. Well done neighbor!

It's a beauty! When I enlarged the photo I was surprised to see that your dark was brown. I had just assumed it was black. Looks great!
ReplyDeleteWell done. I like the brown you've used with the reds and blues. It's not as "hard" as black, a much softer look. Very pretty.
